Acro

Subsea Inspection ROV

ROV platforms engineered for specific subsea inspection tasks

Acro is engineered for direct deployment from the jacket, enabling rapid and efficient survey operations

API level 3 - Jacket and assets inspection

With Acro, you receive clear, objective reports that show the exact condition of your jacket structures, platforms, and subsea installations. No assumptions, no guesswork, just precise measurements that reveal which components need attention and which are performing as they should. This clarity lets you plan maintenance strategically, justify budget decisions with solid evidence, and manage asset integrity with genuine confidence.

Every inspection delivers detailed documentation of anode condition, cathodic protection levels, coating integrity, structural condition, and precise positioning data. You know exactly where issues exist, how severe they are, and what priority they require. When a report identifies coating damage on a specific jacket leg or overprotected anodes in a particular zone, you have the visual evidence, measurements, and location data needed to assess the risk and plan the response. This transforms reactive maintenance into proactive asset management, addressing problems before they become critical failures.

Acro inspections deliverables include high-resolution video footage, annotated images, detailed measurement logs, and comprehensive written reports that meet industry standards. Each anomaly is documented with visual evidence and precise coordinates, making it easy to track changes over time and verify that repairs address the actual issues found. The reports are designed to support regulatory compliance, budget approvals, and operational decision making.

With a proven track record of conducting inspections according to international regulations and standards, Acro can be deployed directly from jacket platforms without requiring large service vessels. Operators benefit from significant cost savings and simplified logistics without compromising on data quality or inspection thoroughness. The system has successfully completed structural and cathodic protection surveys across various platform types, consistently delivering reliable data that clients trust for critical asset management decisions.

Acro Uses Precision Technology for Reliable Inspection Data

Identifies water presence within structures

Flooded Member Detection (FMD) system uses electromagnetic technology to identify water ingress in tubular jacket members. This non-destructive testing method scans your structure’s hollow sections, detecting flooding that would otherwise remain hidden until it becomes a critical integrity issue. You receive detailed mapping of compromised members, enabling risk-based inspection planning and targeted repair strategies. FMD gives you the subsea structural integrity data you need to optimize your maintenance spend and prevent costly emergency interventions.

Confirms that no structural areas are left uninspected

Voyis Discovery cameras deliver exceptional visual documentation that brings your survey reports to life. Capturing simultaneous 4K video and high-resolution still images with 12-bit HDR quality, they generate detailed 3D models that clearly show the true condition of your structures. The ultra-wide 130° field of view ensures complete coverage, while integrated lighting illuminates every detail. You’ll see exactly what’s happening with your assets – no guesswork, just clear, actionable visual evidence.

Let`s us measure material loss due to corrosion

Cygnus Instruments’ ultrasonic thickness gauges measure wall thickness on your subsea pipelines and structures. This ROV-deployed equipment provides accurate readings through coatings and marine growth, eliminating the need for extensive surface preparation. You get precise corrosion mapping data that shows actual material loss, enabling accurate remaining life assessments and risk-based inspection planning. Our thickness measurement surveys give you the quantitative data you need for structural integrity management and informed maintenance decisions.

Full Cathodic Protection assessment

Force Technology’s Field Gradient Sensor (FiGS®) takes CP surveying to the next level. This non-contact sensor provides 50 times the detection sensitivity of traditional methods, measuring electrical fields around your anodes and structures with unprecedented accuracy. Combined with advanced CP modeling, your reports include precise anode current output, remaining system lifespan predictions, and detailed heatmaps showing protection levels across your entire asset – empowering you to plan maintenance strategically and extend asset life cost-effectively.

Makes individual measurments of the anode

We use specialized CP probes to measure the electrical potential of anodes on your structure. The ROV-mounted equipment makes direct contact with your anodes, recording precise millivolt readings that show you exactly how your cathodic protection system is performing. You’ll get clear documentation of which anodes are working properly and which need attention – giving you the data you need for targeted maintenance planning.

Creates better contact for FMD and Thickness Measurement

We prepare surfaces properly before taking critical measurements. Using a cavitational cleaner and rotating brushes, we remove marine growth and surface deposits to ensure direct contact with clean metal. This surface preparation is essential for Flooded Member Detection and thickness measurements of metal structures.

You will get reliable readings that reflect the real condition of your subsea structures, giving you accurate data for maintenance planning.

Lets Acro see in low visibility conditions

The Tritech Gemini 1200ikd multibeam sonar maps your subsea structures down to the finest detail, generating high-resolution 3D models that show you exactly what condition your anodes, jacket structures, and pipelines are in. You’ll receive objective, measurable data in your reports – giving you the solid foundation you need to make informed decisions about your asset maintenance and integrity management.

Make good strategic decisions

Get clear inspectiondata with Acro

Acro delivers exceptionally accurate inspection data because we’ve invested in professional-grade technology at every level. Our navigation systems provide positioning accuracy within centimeters, ensuring every measurement gets reliable coordinates. Advanced sonar systems enable complete structural coverage and precise obstacle detection during operations. Specialized imaging technology cuts through poor visibility to reveal structural details that conventional cameras miss.

Our dual sensor configuration triangulates exact positions of defects and components, giving you specific coordinates rather than approximate areas. Acoustic positioning systems replace GPS underwater with millimeter-level accuracy, meaning you can return to exact locations for maintenance work. When tracking asset condition over time, you’re comparing data from precisely the same measurement points.

This technology integration produces survey reports with data you can verify and act upon with confidence. We don’t compromise on equipment quality because your maintenance decisions depend on accurate information. From navigation and positioning to imaging and measurement systems, Acro uses the technology that delivers reliable results in challenging subsea environments.

Deployed straight from the jacket
